Brunello Cucinelli Achieves Record Sales in 2025 (2026)

Get ready for an exciting journey as we dive into the remarkable success story of Brunello Cucinelli! A true fashion powerhouse, this brand has shattered records in 2025, and we're here to uncover the secrets behind their triumph.

MILAN witnessed an extraordinary announcement from Brunello Cucinelli, who described 2025 as an unprecedented year. On Monday, the company revealed sales figures that surpassed all expectations set a year ago. With a turnover of over 1.4 billion euros, an increase of 10.1%, and a constant exchange rate rise of 11.5%, they've truly outdone themselves.

But here's where it gets controversial... Cucinelli, the executive chairman and creative director, attributes this success not only to financial gains but also to the enhancement of their brand image. He believes that their Italian identity, cultivated with moderation and consistency, has played a pivotal role. Sales in the fourth quarter, reaching 388.6 million euros, further solidified this success, despite a challenging comparison to the previous year.

And this is the part most people miss... The company's strategic investments are a key factor. In a statement, Cucinelli highlighted the completion of their factory expansion in Solomeo, Umbria, and the establishment of new tailoring facilities in Gubbio and Penne. These initiatives, completed ahead of schedule, ensure production stability for the next decade. In 2025 alone, they invested a whopping 145 million euros as part of their three-year plan.

Cucinelli's vision extends beyond mere financial gains. He emphasizes the importance of sustainability, efficiency, and agility in their operations. With a focus on 'gentle luxury,' an expression of exclusivity and craftsmanship, they aim to solidify their position in the global market. Their boutiques and multibrand stores reflect these values, attracting a loyal clientele.

Europe, the Americas, and Asia have all contributed significantly to their success. Europe's sales reached 494.6 million euros, a 8.3% increase, while the Americas saw a 9.2% growth, accounting for 37% of the total. Asia's sales rose by 13.7%, with China leading the way in terms of growth and contribution to the Asian continent's overall result. The company also highlights strong performances in South Korea, Japan, and the Middle East.

Retail revenues took the spotlight, growing by 11.3% to 947.1 million euros, and accounting for a substantial 67.3% of total sales. This growth was driven by both existing stores and new openings, including major expansions in London, Paris, and Los Angeles. In 2026, they plan to expand further, opening stores in Geneva, Toronto, Shanghai, Mexico City, Wuhan, and Abu Dhabi.

As of December 31st, the company managed 136 boutiques and 57 hard shops directly. Wholesale revenues also saw a boost, increasing by 7.8% to 460.7 million euros, representing 32.7% of the total. With strategic investments and dividend payments, their net debt stood at 200 million euros as of December 31st. However, the company expects this to improve progressively in the coming years as they return to ordinary investment levels.

The performance and investments reflect their long-term development plan. Over the next five years, they aim to manage growth while preserving quality, craftsmanship, and the brand's unique positioning and exclusivity. As Cucinelli puts it, they approach this year with great positivity, backed by their strong performance and the feedback on their pre-fall collections.

So, what do you think? Is Brunello Cucinelli's success a result of their strategic vision or a combination of various factors? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
