The company behind the game, 2K, has confirmed that it will be available within Take-Two's fiscal year ending on that date. However, there is speculation that the game might arrive even sooner, with reports suggesting an early March release, particularly for those who opt for the Deluxe and Collector editions, which will likely offer a three-day early access, mirroring the pattern established with previous installments, WWE 2K24 and WWE 2K25.
It appears that WWE and 2K are leaning towards a release in the first week of March. Given the recent reveal of the Attitude Era edition, fans can confidently anticipate the game’s debut before March 7.

Notably, the Showcase Mode will feature the iconic wrestler CM Punk, providing fans with a narrative experience narrated by Punk himself. This mode will encompass three distinct segments of matches. The first segment will allow players to relive some of Punk's most memorable bouts throughout his illustrious WWE career. Additionally, there will be "What If?" scenarios that explore alternative outcomes had Punk not departed from the company in 2014. Lastly, fantasy matches will pit Punk against opponents he never faced due to various circumstances.
Moreover, fans can rejoice as three classic match types are making a return: the Inferno match, I Quit matches, and the 3 Stages of Hell. Excitingly, there will also be the debut of the Dumpster Match, adding fresh content to the gameplay.
